    Description: The YouthAware Educational Theatre program at the New Conservatory Theatre Center is in search of an Assistant Director/Tour Coordinator for the 2007 fall tour of The Other Side of the Closet by Ed Roy, directed by Sara
    Staley. This program has been touring Northern California middle and high schools since the fall of 2000, to educate young people about homophobia, diversity, harassment and school safety.

    An Assistant Director/Tour Coordinator is sought to assist the director during the rehearsal process, and along with the Stage Manager, to help transport and coordinate a tour of this program to Bay area schools. Potential candidates must have their own car and a valid CA DL. This
    position includes a stipend and reimbursement for any travel expenses. Candidates will preferably have some experience with directing, tour management and/or working with youth.

    Rehearsals are weekdays, during the day beginning September 20th and the tour runs October 23rd – December 14th, only Mondays through Thursdays. There is the potential for some overnight travel or community performances on Monday or Tuesday evenings during the run of the tour.
