We have part-time and full time DJ positions available, enabling you to take your passion for music and performance and turn it into a career. We are now hiring fun, upbeat, professional looking people who love all kinds of music to be DJ/MCs for a wide variety of events. The part-time job is part DJing & MCing (i.e. performance), part administrative, and part sales (phone & meetings with potential event clients). The full-time job is basically the same, but with minimum 40 hr/wk including DJing/MCing and more emphasis on sales and other management-level responsibilities within the company. Once you are hired and trained, you will perform at events located throughout the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas primarily on Saturdays (w/ occasional Fridays & Sundays at your option). Client meetings and administrative duties will be flexibly scheduled throughout the week. PART-TIMERS MUST HAVE SATURDAY AVAILABILITY. Please re-read the above sentence... ------------- FULL-TIMERS must also have Saturday availability, and will work on Friday and Sunday nights as required, but with a guaranteed two days off on any given week. Full-time applicants MUST be 100% fine with this flexible schedule. Full-time applicants should have a minimum of two years at college, preferably with a minimum AA degree and should present themselves as well-groomed, well-dressed, 100% mature professionals. ------------- PLEASE NOTE: This job is only open to those who have no (or very limited) professional (for money) DJ experience. We do not use subcontractors – sorry! Requirements – + Must reside in Santa Clara or Santa Cruz County + Outgoing and work well with people + Saturday availability + Natural & comfortable speaking in front of crowds + Have a professional appearance + Good organizational skills + Very punctual and reliable + Self-starter and self-solver + *Own* your own (insured) vehicle that is capable of hauling the equipment supplied + Long-term plans to stay in area + Love of music No experience preferred!
