    Front Office Receptionist Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) is seeking an energetic, friendly, people-person to answer incoming calls and greet visitors to our new music and arts center.


    This part-time position has a flexible schedule, but requires availability on weekday afternoons.


    Responsibilities:
    • Answer incoming calls and greet visitors to the school


    • Respond to and follow-through on general phone, walk-in & e-mail inquiries
    • Provide faculty with attendance rosters and enrollment information
    • Assist Customer Service Associates to register students for classes
    • Filing of registration paperwork as needed


    • Contribute to the professionalism and community spirit of the organization


    Qualifications:
    • Customer service experience required
    • Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions in a high-energy environment
    • Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of people


    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
    • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
    • Experience Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; experience with FileMaker Pro preferred
    • Music/art background or experience working in a music, art or educational organization preferred
    • Enthusiasm for the arts and education.
    • Sense of humor and willingness to jump right in


    Compensation: $12.00 - $13.50/hr, depending on experience
