    CLASSROOM MUSIC TEACHER and STRINGS TEACHER CSMA has openings for well-qualified, reliable and dedicated CLASSROOM MUSIC and STRINGS teachers. These part-time positions start in Fall 2008. QUALIFICATIONS: Music degree or equivalent. Significant teaching experience and program development. Excellent communication and organizational skills. TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach music in elementary schools in Santa Clara and San Mateo county schools. Classes meet during the school day. • Follow the CSMA music curriculum and California State Standards. • Prepare students to participate in one or two public performances a year. • Report to the Music in the Schools Director Compensation: SALARY: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour, depending on education and experience The Community School of Music and Arts values diversity.
