    SEPTEMBER 5TH!! Open Auditions For ages 8 to 19 an all youth production of a brilliant American Musical; Meredith Wilson’s THE MUSIC MAN. Join us this fall and winter as we prepare to bring this great American Classic to Pacifica this holiday season!


    Call (650) 738-8648 for an appointment to audition. All students accepting a role must enroll in the fall production class. Cost is $395, limited scholarships are available and are 50%. Class is 3:30 to 6:30, Fridays starting Sept. 12 all the way to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving week is off and then Mon-Fri. 3:30 to 6:30 from Dec. 1st to opening, Dec. 19th. Shows are every Friday, Sat. & Sunday until the 4th of Jan. 2009. There will be approximately 16 performances including preview and a special Gala performance for our sponsors. Performances will be on the main stage of the PSP theatre, a wonderful, intimate 98 seat theatre. For the past 3 years we have had almost every performance sold out and we expect the same this year.


    COME PREPARED!

    Choose an appropriate song for your range and the show. Please bring your sheet music. Do NOT choose a piece from Music Man but do try and choose something in that genre. Pop tunes are not advisable. An accompanist will be provided, No CD accompaniment allowed. Except for Quartet, a capella singing is also not advised.


    Bring a resume and headshot. It can be a school picture or Polaroid, it need not be a professional headshot, it is for reference only.


    Come with your calendar and be prepared to note ALL scheduling conflicts for the entire run of rehearsals and performances.


    Callbacks will be the following morning from 9am to 12pm. Please be available. In most instances, dance auditions are done during callbacks.

    Come prepared to dance.
