Pat Benatar was one of the first female rock singers to hit the airwaves back in 1979. Her voice was strong and powerful as demonstrated each and every time she performed live... but what about that gorgeous guy playing the guitar next to her? Neil Thomas Giraldo was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was heavily influenced by Elvis Presley when he was very young. Later, musician Scotty Moore made a big impression on him, as well as the British guitarists Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. Neil began playing the guitar at 6-years-old at his father's urging. "My father always wanted to play guitar and sing, so consequently he encouraged his off-spring. My sister played accordion and so my father said to me, 'You're gonna play guitar,' and that was it!" Today, Neil is known not only as an accomplished guitarist and songwriter but as a prolific producer as well.

The show was great! I have been a Pat Benatar for a very long time and she has become a family icon. I grew up listening to her and was very excited to see for the first time. The only disappointing factor was the fact that she didn't play songs like Whethering Heights, My Clone sleeps alone, Rated X, and Don't let it show. She didn't even sing "Get Nervous" or "It's a little too late". Very Disappointed about the song list. I drove 3 hours for the show and walked away not hearing my favorite songs. I had front row seats and it was a like a dream come true for me. I tried to get her to autograph a picture that I purchased at the concert but that didn't go very well. I was 4 years old when her first CD came out and I'm proud to say that I have followed her since then. Why won't she sing these songs? The show was still good and her voice still sounds amazing. I'm glad I went and got my opportunity to see her in concert. Collapse
