There was very little here that could not be done on a website. Most of the exhibit consisted of signage (some interactive) and web pages. While the Tech is a fun and interesting place, this... Expand
There was very little here that could not be done on a website. Most of the exhibit consisted of signage (some interactive) and web pages. While the Tech is a fun and interesting place, this particular exhibit is a real waste of the Museum's floor space for something that could be accomplished via the web. Collapse

The Rodin garden has been one of my favorite hang-outs since high school. The layout is elegant, and the sculptures are simply magical. Lovely spot for picnicking, too.

I haven't been there in a while because it's not near my house. However, it used to be a great place to dance for beginners and intermediate level dancers. The lessons were well done and the bands were great. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me is the lack of air conditioning. They may have added that in the last year. Collapse

Swing Central is a great place to dance whether you are a beginner or an intermediate dancer. The dances taught mostly focuses on the "Lindy Hop" and covers other dances in the swing dance era like the "Charleston" and "Balboa". Once in a while, Swing Central hosts live music performances by dancer favorite bands like Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Licker and Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums featuring Miss Carmen Getit. The atmosphere is great and the dancefloor is slick. Collapse

A nice older gentlemen gave me an individualized tour that not only described the wonderful artwork within but also a bit of San Jose's history. Not sure if I'll ever be back in San Jose, but if I am I'll definitely be visiting this church again. A gem. Collapse
